My son and I did the shape cutting together, after which it was seasoned in olive oil, ground pepper, and caraway seeds. It was simple enough for a twenty minute job before leaving it in the oven to roast it golden. Serve these up with some good-to-go sauce if you'd like, but we like it naturally baked and eaten.
These were snapped up by the boys in a jiffy, makes me want to make a second serving just for myself now!

Yums! Great idea to cut stars out! ;)
ReplyDeleteA little extra work but all worth the kids enthusiasm to eat!
ReplyDeleteThat day I grabbed a packet of caraway seeds coz at the back of my mind I KNOW I have to get this but for what? Don't ask me, I'm still clueless today haha~
ReplyDeleteAnd here you gave me a way to use those seeds~ thanks a lot!
Haha!! Telepathic yes? If there is one thing I hate, it's not having the ingredients when I need them for a dish. So it's always nice to have spare groceries at your disposal! :) Good thing you kept those caraway seeds then!
